It may go up after the announcement. You can always cancel if we play elsewhere. https://renaissance-hotels.marriott.com/renaissance-washington-dc-downtown-hotel

Rates there are very reasonable and you can walk to the parade and the game. Edited November 28, 2017 by NewEnglandBull

Kind of sucks, although maybe we can arrange some stuff night before and right after the game in Annapolis. Like most of us, we'll probably only be in the area for those two nights. Maybe there will be battle of the bands or some other pep rally thing the night before the game in Annapolis. The bowl website lists team hotels in DC and Annapolis, so this is the basis of my theory. Hope we end up going there. I think it could be a great couple of days. I also think our fan base is 100% in on this game. Might be the only game where our fan base actually travels (not counting St Pete or Boca). Can't see us making a dent in the Birmingham Bowl again. Shreveport vs FSU would be good for ticket sales, but I think Annapolis would be pretty good too.

There will be bar/wine crawls in Annapolis the night before the game, and parade and tailgate in Annapolis morning of the game. Outside of that, no official events in Annapolis that I've seen. I don't particularly like that its disjointed like this, but (if we end up in this bowl) I'd be doing stuff in both DC and Annapolis anyway, so I chose to book with the team. http://militarybowl.org/visitor-guide/
