I have nothing against CJL and would kind of love to have him back but you don't fire a coach for hitting a player and bring him back.  

 

I believe the firing was more for the cover-up than the actual event.  I agree coming back probably is not a good idea.

And rumor started that FSU and UTenn are possibly looking at Kevin Sumlin? 

Maybe good for UTenn Sumlin has proven he can make bowl games everywhere he has been. FSU should go for Taggart I see more upside and Florida recruiting ties, but Sumlin probabaly could win there in the ACC at least as well as he did in the SEC.

Cover up of something that never happened? 

 

I think it was a clash of egos and not being cooperative with the investigation.

I think it was looked at as an opportunity to get rid of a coach who was losing 4-5 conference games a year including back to back blow outs by Rutgers.

Sumlin may want to take that 10mil and just chill for a year. Tennessee doesn’t seem like a good spot for almost anyone right now

Don't think that one will pan out. They should have gone with the kid who had NCAA 14 experience. Not sure how well this kid can recruit...
