First time I was introduced to that awesome movie was decades ago on the Campus at USF, building across from the Post Office ..... and I have no idea how I found out about it or why decided to go but was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Similar story here.  First saw it in one of the Arts n Letters auditoriums I think.  Fantastic!

Assume you were a student, though. As a civilian I don't have a clue how I would have found out about it ....... must have been fate.

News Years Eve 1978. As a kid I loved that scene from the first time I saw it.

WHAT is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow?

Old Man from Scene 24: Stop! WHAT is your name?
King Arthur: It is Arthur, King of the Britons!
Old Man from Scene 24: WHAT is your quest?
King Arthur: To seek the Holy Grail!

...snivelling English kaniggits!!

My first experience was when I was a little kid and though I laughed at a couple of scenes like the paraplegic black knight, I thought it was largely stupid. Then I saw it again with friends as a young adult and could not stop laughing. My friend could recite the entire "help, I'm being repressed..." scene, it was awesome. I could counter with the entire "burn the witch" scene. A few of my fave quotes:

can't I have just a little of the peril??

what, the curtains?

you can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you.

Three shall be the number thou shalt count...

His head smashed in
And his heart cut out
And his liver removed
And his bowels unplugged
And his nostrils raped...

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
