I don't think Temple has the offense to win but they did just put a whooping on Navy.  They could make it interesting for a while.

Are division loses the third tie breaker? Memphis and Houston both only have 11 regular season games. If all three teams wind up 6-2 in the conference their overall records will be 9-2(memphis) , 9-3(smu), & 8-3(houston)

 

Obviously h2h would be the second tie breaker but that cancels itself out with Memphis>Houston, Houston>SMU, and potentially SMU>Memphis.

Overall record doesn’t matter, only conference record. First tiebreaker is head to head. Division record is second tiebreaker after head to head. In the scenario where SMU Houston and Memphis finished with 2 losses they would all be 1-1 in head to head records so go to the second tiebreaker where Houston is eliminated since both losses were within the division. Then SMU would have the head to head tiebreaker over Memphis.

I hear ya, but no team has really been able to slow down their offense so far.  Beyond just points, they are churning out ridiculous yardage numbers.  I guess my take was that if we can't match their offense, we are in trouble.
