We all KNOW Strong is here for a cup of coffee. I want someone who wants to be here...

He wanted nothing to do with the fans yesterday on his walk to the stadium

I read people daily doing business... he is absolutely disinterested in USF, especially yesterday... I would not be surprised if Florida has already reached out and part of the negotiations mentioned in this article with Coach Mac has to do with Strong's buyout

I don’t think anyone is going to hire Strong after this loss. They will probably be hot for Frost.

Frost is headed to Nebraska.... I'd love Chip Kelly here

I'm not sure what you or for that matter what anyone on this board does for a living.  However, if you have a bad day or month or even year at your job is your career done?  If so, you better look for another profession. I hear CCS's interview at the next level now.

"Mr. Strong, I really like your overall body of work, but we're not moving forward with you as our HC because you coached USF and lost a game to Houston".  "My admin will show you out sir".

After the Texas fiasco Strong will need a few years to show he can put together a few successful season and win with his own players.

No where did anyone say USF is firing Strong. If you cannot see he doesn't want to be here. The fact he has not been at 1/3 of the events CWT was at, and his body language is disinterested, then you need to look harder.

He will be gone no later than next year. Not because he's fired but because he takes another job.

People at Tennessee or Ole Miss or UF are not going to be excited about a Strong hire. Not just because of the UH game but because of his entire body of work.

His team has underwhelmed all season and finally lost to a 3 loss team who was a 10.5 point dog. His signature win here is what, Illinois?

We hired him basically based on Louisville, not Texas.

I said after the hire, our schedule was so weak no one would be able to evaluate him this season except for underperformance. Really next season is more of the same except for the GT game.

I think his history at Florida is what makes it fit. I agree with you for sure if Florida passes on him

Yep.  He didn't do much to hurt the program.  UT has been irrelevant since 09.  He also didn't do much to help the program w/wins and losses.

I wish you'd come to Philly and I'd take you out to A.C. so you could use your super power to tell me the next card out of the shoe.  Not sure what events you refer to, but I'll take your word for it.  If he has a better offer he should take it.  I would and if you or anyone else wouldn't you're a dummy.  Every job I've taken has been a better offer.  Worked out so far.

This was his problem at UT.  He wants to coach, not schmooze.  Really need to do both if you want donations and an OCS.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
