The biggest crock of crap is the answer about taking what they give you on offense. If that was the case and they are not giving you the run by putting 8 players within 4 yards of the line of scrimmage you don't keep running between the tackles.

Maybe the language is different in Texas, but loading the box means they took the run away from you.

What I find amazing is that CCS never once even inferred that part of the problem was poor coaching  and poor clock management on the last major drive. He threw his players under the bus.

I was looking for his bs answers yesterday evening, but didn’t look very hard. I love how he always finds a way to lay the blame on the players, and never concedes any culpability on the part on the coaches. Players aren’t perfect, but come on at this point in the season I would like to see him and his staff own up already.

true leaders will take the blame even if it isn't their fault. look at Flowers and Sanchez quotes.

pointing fingers and placing blame is no way for a millionaire coach to act.

At the presser (I didn't catch it) did anyone ask about the clock management issue?

Thanks, saw that after I posted. So basically, CCS' response was "Didn't do everything we could have done to win, but we could have still won at the end."

Weak sauce.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
