At least against USF they have given up. Hope their team feels the same way.

Applewhite is leading a talented team to a losing season and the best qb on the team is either being redshirted or is lined up at slot receiver.

Watching his press conference is kind of sad. Talk about no emotion or urgency in his voice. It is like a corpse being up there.

They think CCS is a good coach and we are a good team.

Maybe we should give them the link to this board to cheer them up?

I kid, I kid...

Talk about no emotion or urgency

Kinda like how our defense looked the final quarter and a half against Tulane? This game against Houston is far from a sure thing. Don't care how they have looked up to this point. If we sleep on this game we end up losing. They have talent and if comes out to play we're gonna be in trouble if we're not ready mentally.

There is no indication that USF will be sleeping for this game. I was referring to the coaches press conference...not the team.

Lots to choose from, but I like this comment:

"My only prediction is we'll get the life beaten out of us in the 2nd half"

Is Houston really that bad?  They beat Arizona, Rice, Temple & SMU.  They lost to Texas Tech, Tulsa & #25 Memphis.  4-3 doesn't seem that bad to be that down and out.  I must be way off because I think this is going to be a challenging game, despite being at home.

This seems pretty accurate from one of their fans on their board:

USF is a tough read because they haven’t really played anyone up to this point. However, I have a feeling they’ll be amped for this one as we still have a name.

They’ve got tons of speed everywhere, which doesn’t bode well for our defense (see Memphis). Key will be containing Flowers and the running game and forcing him to throw; he hasn’t been very accurate this year. Basically, the game plan from Louisville last year would probably work here.

I don’t see us winning this one though. Think we lose 35-20.

I think when I saw Houston play they were inconsistent.  They had turn overs in games they won and lost.
