ESPN bowl projections...

Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl

Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta
Jan. 1, 12:30 p.m. (ESPN)

Bonagura: Wisconsin vs. South Florida
Hale: Georgia vs. South Florida

They both now agree that we'll win out as opposed to most other prognosticators.

Funny the bowl predictors like us to beat UCF but the other media types do not.

Funny because their FPI rating gives us only a 16% chance to win the conference. Apparently their bowl experts and FPI calculators aren't on the same page.

I would rather play Wisconsin than Georgia in the Peach Bowl (if we get there). Georgia is by far the better team, and it would essentially be a home game for Georgia in Atlanta.

Yep, agree. Wiscy travels well, but the ATL stadium is about a little over an hour for Dawgs fans.

We were supposed  to play Wisconsin anyway, so we might as well play them in a bowl game, to see how we would have fared this season.

If we play Wisconsin, that might be the most boring game ever in the history of college football. Two teams that play three yards and a cloud of dust.  I suspect this game will never happen though, Wisconsin played the group of five team in last year‘s bowl and they would lobby hard for an alternative.

I was thinking the same thing.  I'm also thinking that if we beat them, they'll be thinking internally that this is why the cancelled the game with us...just so they can get to this better bowl game then they would have with another L on their regular season record.
