All this talk and pre-hype about the Tinmen and us

Drew a comment from me earlier today in a discussion that involved the tinmen winning their game and whether they would score 30.  That comparison and many others lately, including undefeated status, that will lead up to the game in late November led to my response:

I get the feeling we're a little like Balboa right now, wobbling around, perhaps a little overtaken by success while that snot of a program is becoming stronger and emboldened. 

Definitely the hunted and not the hunter.

We better have our moment in the surf with Adrian or we're gonna end up on the mat.

The trick is to not play UCF every week this year.  Lets get through the schedule like Im sure our players are.   Honestly tough wins are the best because it makes you train harder and not get complacent like Rocky did when he was spending all that Apollo Creed money.

We need to train in Apollo's gyms until we can beat him in a beach race.  Coach has been protecting us because he knows we are soft.

As long as the movie plays out, I'll be fine, but this script doesn't feel certain. At all.

You mean ESPN hyping up USC all week on all the talk shows?  Oops.

Can we hire Micky? Oh wait he is dead. Can we hire Apollo? Oh wait he is dead. Adrian? ****...is anyone alive to help us?

We need Apollo's trainer

but he's no longer alive either.

At some point, we just have to fight a complete fight.  Part of that is not taking the foot off the pedal.
