The offense was not stopped. The defense couldn't get a stop.

We averaged 45.8 points a game for our 11 wins.  If we would have scored that against Temple we would have won.  Florida State maybe not.

On that first drive I almost thought this staff came to their senses and was going to let Q play some ball. This is so frustrating. Our 30+ streak is in some danger if we don't open this up a bit.

Way to take your foot off the gas Gilbert.  I'm sure it's all just "execution".

That’s ok. Must be Q’s fault. Let’s keep giving Gilbert the benefit of the doubt and blame it on “execution.”

 370 rushing yards.

500 yards of offense

"No he is just not getting it! We can never be a rushing team!" (hint: we are).

Gilbert called the correct plays on the drive that closed out the game and put up plenty of offense. Think he "got it" last night.

Was discussing this today. I am not happy with the offense but I think last year spoiled us. It seemed so easy last year. His offense produces points and yards...lots of rushing yards. It is just not as flashy as last year. Believe me I don’t like his game plan...but it is working

I had no problem with how we did first 3 quarters...we did let off the gas some in 4th...a stupid chop block penalty hurt one drive which led to missed field goal.

Offense was well on way to score high 40s on the road.

Ok to run out clock maybe with 5 mins left in game not 15.

Are people thinking we didn't have close games last year and it was just a cake walk every game?  Lol

I am not even sure we have the speed to run last year's offense as effectively as last year.   This is college football. Mack and Adams moved on. Johnson does not look fast enough to get the edge on plays where Mack did.  The only receiver that could match Adams' speed is Barr. If I am the OC he is a liability because he can't catch and therefore is limited on the field.

For whatever reason Flowers is underthrowing most of his deep ball and has always been inaccurate underneath.

That being said, I would like to see more seam routes and more to DJ.

As we are running more between the tackles this year, I am wondering if we are tighter on the OL splits?  Is Flowers not throwing over thd middle because he is inaccurate or can't see over the lineman?  No throwing lanes?

I really have no problem with this offense because I think it works hand in hand with the better defense. It's about the bigger, except for poor coaching in taking our foot off their throats yesterday.

At least we are not getting into shootouts like we had to do with SMU, Navy and Memphis ladt year.

Stop the penalties in the red zone that kill drives snd negate scores and everyone will be happy.
