Maybe his company will make changes if people are not clicking his stories?

Joey doesn't like his job as the USF beat writer and it shines through in his effort/lack there of to give his readers quality content.  I honestly cannot remember a time that Joey broke any news beyond USF's actual attendance for home games.   Between this and his almost constant snarky tone while interacting with his readers via twitter etc and it's clear he hates his job.

Biggest complaint I have with JK is the obsession with actual attendance, an inconsequential number in the world of college football. He's definitely no Greg Auman but it sure beats the hell out of not having a beat writer at all.

Greg Auman commented/tweeted about actual attendance numbers too. But it was part of his larger coverage of the team, not the crux of it (lately)

Joey has the misfortune of following Greg Auman who was a fan favorite for years. He truly got to the heart of team with his videos and articles.

It's no secret that the papers have been trimming costs so i won't be surprised if JK's role is expanded to cover other state teams similar to Matt Baker that covers both UF and FSU. He has already been taken off the USF beat to cover UF.....so go figure.

 

Joey must be butthurt Baker gets to cover UF and FSU,  I'm talkin REAL BUTTHURT!
