How do you explain the use of marijuana?  Advertising?

As Bully pointed out, there are some things that people gravitate to. Not saying advertising doesn't work - unless your the Huuuuuuuge Kia guy in which case I would never buy from him - but there are some things that don't need a "sell".   Beer and college kids, perfect together (my apologies to the State of NJ who used that perfect together slogan a century ago).

No commercial advertising is necessary for things that are banned by the Guberment.

I wouldn’t buy anything from Buddy Fucillo either,  however his success proves the that his advertising does draw in Huuuuuuge number of buyers,  for all the different brands he has dealerships for.

Bourbon Bull needs to change his name.  I'm feeling influenced

No, advertising does influence consumer decisions, no one would rationally argue otherwise. I think the larger point being made is that there are SO many other ways that consumers are exposed to advertising that the name of a beer company being associated with the Sun Dome isn't going to make a scintilla of difference in the grand scheme of things. If anything, this is a better example of branding than advertising. The consumer is already aware of the existence of the product and now they are just being conditioned to familiarize themselves with a specific brand. It may result in the increased consumption of Yuengling, but is unlikely to result in the increased consumption of beer overall.

This guy gets it

Yep, they are just looking for brand exposure.  I guess they could also hope that the 36 students that attend basketball games will start shotgunning cans of Yuengling instead of budweiser, but I'm pretty sure those 36 students knew what beer was before the Yuengling name went on the building

"Before the first basketball game i attended at USF i thought Yuengling was one of those famous Panda's at the zoo.  Unfortunately It was beer, and I learned beer existed and what it was.  Now I'm a full blown alcoholic that lives in a van down by the Hillsborough river.  If only USF had thought better about naming their basketball arena after a beer brand my life would be so much different."

Thought it was time to change back to my Original name on the Board. Will set the Bourbon Bull aside for a bit.

Great now I want to go out and buy some arts and crafts supplies.  Or is it costume jewelry.

What did I miss?  The tariff thing?

Don't think I'll be drinking any more or less.
