All I know is that Hootie couldve been body slammed by Rocky, John Cena'd by the biggest guy in the student section, and tackled by every member of the camera crew twice and it STILL wouldnt have been the biggest beatdown of an Owl on Thursday night

I actually met the Wizard dude at the block party this year, but for the life of me can''t remember his name, wondered why he looked familiar, and yes I find it annoying too after a while

Hit Hootie is and has always been the worst promotion at the football games

The "Hit Hootie" promotion is wack. They've had it since they came to Raymond James back in 1999 if I remember correctly.

Line up people 30 yards away from a moving target, give them a full sized football, and let the target dodge the throws... done!

I love Hooters and I definitely appreciate them sponsoring our team, but these poor people need a MUCH smaller football to throw. People hit hootie.. maybe once a season? If that?

I agree.  But I attribute this to the Hooters girls being too hard to see from our seats.

May not want to do that, distance can be a girl's (or guy's) best friend.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
