You can't have the free tickets every home game or it won't have any effect. Do it once a year to get everyone there the same night.

yeah you can. give them out to different groups. ie educators one night. military another night. etc. heck give them out to 813 area codes one night. 727 another. last name a-f one night. g-k another. All 5th graders who get A's on their report cards. I don't care but get people in the stands.

have a standing invitation to all high school players and their coaches every week. break it up by county if need be. make it the thing to do on a saturday.

Not gonna lie.. that number id disappointing given the number of free tickets. I know a few people are still without power but given the number of free tickets distributed, no other sporting events to compete with and ranked team I'd like to think Tampa would bring out at least 40k. AD has a long way to go to build back up the fan base.

No other sporting events to compete with? Are you sure about that?

Yeah, their fans.

What's the difference now between us getting 50K+ at 2007 Cincy homecoming vs what'll happen for 2017 Cincy homecoming? We'll arguably have an even better team to celebrate.

2007 was because we were in a better conference thus Cincinnati was deemed a better opponent

2007 Cincy had Brian Kelly and we were in the Big East.

The damage of Skip Holtz and the loss of the Big East cannot be overstated. We will get some better crowds when we are ranked and playing ranked teams but for the typical games? Below 30k actual going to be the norm.

Our best chance of a bigger crowd this year will be Houston, and the AAC championship if we are in it. Very weak schedule this year.

In 2007, Cincy was a P5 program, now they're a G5. Everyone knows nobody will come watch a G5 team.

Sigh...

Thought we were P6?? Memphis & USF brought a solid argument to the table this weekend. And they are lucky GaTech got saved from the beat down that UCF was about to give them.
