i would tell him and his agent drew rosenhaus to get lost and call me when he is healthy

i would pass on him and eat the loss before i would pay him a nickel knowing he can't play

why throw good money after bad.

how these teams buy into the BS surprises me

Because if you didn't offer a contract, he becomes a free agent or goes back into the draft.

The Bills knew what they were getting into. They knew a first-round pick would demand first-round money. It's not like McGahee's injury was a secret. They would not have taken him at all were they not willing to pay him the money appropriate for his draft slot. It's a calculated risk on Buffalo's part.

Come on Smazza, Give Drew some credit. He played buffalo like a fiddle.  He had McGehee doing sprints to show his knee was oh so close. Almost every GM in the league knew he was nowhere near ready and that he could not turn an inch. He also played the phones on draft day during interviews showing Willis talking on the phones and telling the Bills that there were two teams that had basically decided to take him.  He pressured the Bills into grabbing him even though he probably would not have even been a 1st round pick.

he appears to be worse off than they thought

if that is the case they should pass on him

and chalk it up as a major screw up

drew is a great agent.he did his job.

the bills blew this

they could have got macahee with a 3rd round pick or later

but now the bills are compounding their error
