College Football Watch Lists 07/13 -Bronco Nagurski and Outland Awards

Today is the day we'll find out if any Bulls are named to the watch list for these two awards.  More on these awards and the remainder for this week:

 

Bronco Nagurski Award

Presented to the nation's most outstanding defensive player by the Charlotte Touchdown Club

Named for ... Bronko Nagurski, an All-America defensive tackle and fullback in 1929. He went on to play for the Chicago Bears and is a member of the College and Pro Football Halls of Fame.

2016 winner: Jonathan Allen, Alabama

 

Outland Trophy

Presented to the nation's most outstanding interior lineman by the Football Writers Association of America

Named for ... Dr. John H. Outland, an All-America tackle at the University of Pennsylvania in 1897 and the benefactor of the trophy.

2016 winner: Cam Robinson, Alabama
