11 new players eligible to play in 2017-2018 and 13 total new recruits. Other than new programs just starting up from scratch, that has to be some sort of record, right?

If I'm doing the math correctly, 8 new players eligible in 2017-18, 7 additions and Martin:

G/F Justin Brown, Fr.
SG David Collins, Fr.

PG Terrence Samuel Gr-Transfer (Penn State)
C Nikola Scekic, Jr. (New Mexico/Hutchinson CC)
F Alexis Yetna, Fr.

G Payton Banks, Gr-Transfer (Penn State)
PG Stephan Jiggetts, Gr-Transfer (Fairleigh Dickinson)

C Malik Martin, R-Jr.

9 total new additions with Rideau and Lang sitting out a year.

Still a ton of attrition.

My bad, you are right. I just counted the list and didn't even realize that it had players from last season on the list. I thought it was just a list of new additions.

I believe these are all preliminary games for the U20 European Championships which starts on July 15.

This is the FIBA link for U20 France. I don't see Yetna listed on their roster, but it may not be up to date:

Apparently, Yetna was going to enroll at USF in June for summer classes, but received late word that he had been invited to play for U-20 French team:

Congratulations to Alexis Yetna who earned an invite to play for the U20 French National Team!

Here is some info from when he signed on May 8th. His mother flew in from Paris to be at his signing ceremony.

Not concerned at all, except for injury possibility, now that I definitely know where he is .....

Yetna has been getting about five m/gm with the French U20 team, which is so far undefeated in the European Championships.

Those games can be viewed live and on replay.

His next game is 7/19, which is the round of 16 against the Czech Republic.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
