Live by Night, the new movie with Ben Affleck, is based on a novel by an alumni of Eckerd College and FIU, Dennis Lehane. Interesting look at that era in Tampa.

It's a shame that we can't offer the tax credits so that films like this could actually be filmed in the locations they are set in.  Because of that, they rebuilt Ybor in Georgia, where they give incentives.

I saw Live By Night, and it's definitely not better than Dogma.
