The Krewe of Boo is doing their Halloween themed parade on the same day as our game at 6:30pm.  Obviously wouldn't work if we have a later kickoff but might be worth checking out if we play early in the day.

I was in NOLA the same weekend last year and hit upon the following haunted house, which was pretty good as it is set in a (former?) working mortuary.  You can take the Canal Street streetcar to the location:  http://themortuary.net/   They let in groups of 10 at a time and it takes about 25 minutes to get thru it.

Personally, I would not take any of the ghost tours.  My party did one once and we wound up walking off the tour about 20 minutes in...snoozefest.  I think it's all about the tour guide, and we apparently had a dud.

I have been asked to inquire about what color shirts we should think about wearing to this game given that Tulane has a similar green. We had planned to wear green but were wondering if anyone had a plan.

In case you want to avoid the tourist traps (i.e., Bourbon)-- this may be an interesting event for some of you: Oktoberfest NOLA

Oh, and NOLA Brewing (http://nolabrewing.com) does free tours every Friday from 2-3pm and Saturday and Sunday from 2-4pm.  Free beer (at least they used to).
