All us "contrarians" are saying is that if one was a financial improvement over the present situation, it would be in the works.

that's putting a good deal of faith in the competence of USF braintrust steering this stampede. who are these mysterious figures, and why don't they reach out to me for loose change? regardless, i don't know what there is to be argued here, as it's a sharp bet Harlan will announce an OCS campaign if Chuck wins us an AAC title in '17. isn't that how these things go? fundraising should have begun a decade ago during the golden year, with CJL and Judy Botox panhandling door-to-door in a Billy Fuccillo Kia.

gather your finest number lackeys, finagle together a debt-based finance plan of dubious legitimacy, and start divvying those construction contracts out to the cronies. build now, pay later, it's the american way.

program autonomy now, or another decade sailing the cuckold Pirate Ship captained by TSA and the Glazers?

Not sure why they haven't reached out to you yet. What level Bulls Club donor are you?

The  on campus hotel at USF would benefit from an OCS. On campus Publix will benefit more too. The WOB will have increased sales if the OCS. Seems like a no brainner to get it done

Yes, we should drop 100+ million in a project so three businesses will make a few tens of thousands of dollars.

for 6 or 7 days a year.

OCS or not,

our biggest problem is getting fans to the games...

For our success, we need more fans showing up!

Athletics impact on a community is an interest of mine and it is actually studied academically and published in peer review journals. The results are decidedly mixed in regards to the economic stimulus being worth the investment.

ESPN can't get enough of bowl games in Florida...no reason USF can't host the 'Busch Gardens Bowl' or something similar.

Honestly they'd probably move the St. Pete Bowl there if the stadium was large enough.

How many bowl games are played in OCSs?

Only one I can think of off the top of my head that may be in an OCS is the Boca Bowl but I don't really care enough to see where it's played...

I know we just played in one at FAUs...if FAU can have a new stadium and Bowl game...why not USF?

What would we do with our OCS  during the other 8 months out of the year that isn't already being done at RayJay?
