The AAC on the field competes at a level very close to the P5 and by some metrics better than the Big 12, but the problem is that we receive G5 money and less respect. This makes us the perfect poaching ground for coaches and leaves our programs in a constant state of turmoil. Sure, other G6 conferences get raided occasionally when their coaches are successful, but this is getting ridiculous with the AAC. As a conference, we lose our top coaches every year including the 3 best coaches in conference this year. Aresco needs to get us that better TV deal stat or this conference is not sustainable. The fact that our coaches are in such demand constantly should be indicative of the quality of programs we have and we need to get paid accordingly.

FBS is a terrible athletic system...

AAC needs better media rights, or the  hemorrhaging will continue

(even if a school has a great contract with a coach, starts winning consistently, then that program may be gone to the P5)

On our best day, we're just the tallest midget. Tired of the corrupt college football system.

Keep in mind the P5 conferences control everything. Things are exactly the way they want them.

The only thing that is going to change is something that is outside of their control. The only thing I see that they don't control is the amount of TV money that will come in when all of the current TV contracts start to expire in 2024 and in 2025.

If the current trends in cable TV keep giving people who don't watch sports the option to not pay ESPN $7 each month, the TV money will slowly dry up. That is when you will see changes. It won't necessarily be to include USF. It will probably be to exclude more members out of getting big money. Once the Big 12 grant of rights expire, you will probably see Texas and OU put themselves out to the highest bidder. Then more dominoes would fall. USF's situation would probably be better regardless.

Need to get rid of the playoff committee and replace it with objective metrics.

For one, it should be only conference champions.

Hell, just simple, take the 4 conference champions with the best record... then have some kind of tie breaker for when records are the same.

So we can show WT that he never should have left? That sure would be sweet.

The p4 is on its way so we won't be so lonely when TCU and Iowa state join us in purgatory.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

Act like you’ve been there before. Turns out, for many of us, we haven’t been there before.
