I'd take Schiano, look at what Rutgers was before him and is without him.

I too would take Schiano...take him to the cleaners.

I've seen his name being floated in just about every list of candidates for our job, even by those who are plugged into our athletics office. It's pretty much unanimous that he is an unacceptable hire to the USF fan base and Tampa Bay community due to his history with both.  I know I would totally abandon my support of the program if he was hired and I know quite a few Bulls who have said the same. I'm thinking #NeverSchiano should become a thing. I'm usually not one for these social media crusades but this seems like a worthy cause and Harlan is very active on twitter.  What say you fellow bullspen denizens?

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I could give a **** about his history with the Bucs. I don't care about the Bucs, and by looks of attendance the last 7-8 years neither do a lot of people in TB.

If we cant lock down Strong, Schiano would be my #2.

What about his open disdain for USF?

He was at a rival school at one point. If he is really all that opposed to the school he won't accept the job

He continued that disdain when he was Bucs coach. He was no longer a rival then. He showed he wasn't a community guy.

A community guy? Again this goes back to giving a **** about the Bucs and vice versa. It looks like Tony Dungey was a pretty good community guy when he recommended our coach to Oregon.

I thought this was common knowledge but I'm just going to leave this here

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
