Temple would be fortunate to beat UF and FSU once each out of 10 times. Our defense folded in that game - plain and simple. Temple would maybe beat us three out of 10 times at best. We forgot to show up the night we needed to show up - nothing more, nothing less. USF should be ranked in the CFP, but we're not. Winning meaningful games matters.

Probably the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I just don't see how UF scores on Temple

I'm beginning to think the CFB Playoff committee only looks at the TV aspect of it.  That's why I think Navy moved so far up.  So they can leap frog WMU if they beat Temple.

UF at 15 makes the SEC Championship game look better.  VaTech had to be ranked to help the ACC Championship game.

The jokes are:  UF at 15 and Utah, LSU, Tennessee, and Pitt being ranked.

Honestly I'm starting to believe this. FSU one spot over Lville, too. Apparently head to head means nothing this year; except when it meant everything two years ago. Oh and also conference champs don't matter either.

To be frank, the top 4 teams in the AAC

would probably beat UF (they can't move the ball)

Sorry Sheriff, but Navy is right.  Clearly you haven't watched much Gator football.  UF's offense is atrocious.  Our offense is far better than theirs.  Their defense is good but they struggle against balanced offenses, which Temple has.  I would definitely lay a bit of cash on Temple if they played UF.

Being an engineer I prefer to remove the human aspect from results as much as possible. I always feel an 8 team play off is better. P5 champs, 2 at large, best G5 champ, (honestly I feel best 3 G5 champs but trying to be semi-realistic here). Yes I know football politics... but just really providing a proof of concept here.

Michigan and/or Ohio State should get that wild card spot over Florida

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
