This kind of worries me for next year. Houston is still ranked. You know why? Because they had a shot and beat two very good P5 school's. Even WMU got to play and beat an SEC school that is going bowling. We got nothing next year on the schedule unless  Illinois suddenly becomes decent. Even if we go undeafeted we might still need help from other G5 schools (they may need 2 loses if they have a strong out of conference schedule) in order to get to a NYD bowl game. Am I reading too much into this???

I Agree with all the author's points. The SEC as a whole, except Alabama, is way overrated this year and inconsistent. FSU should be behind UL. I think Temple should be ranked somewhere between 10 and 20, ahead of USF and Houston. I'm positive Temple would beat both UF and FSU 8 out of 10 times.

American teams that that should be ranked are Temple, USF and Navy. There are a lot of 3 and 4 loss teams that should be lower.

Temple would be fortunate to beat UF and FSU once each out of 10 times. Our defense folded in that game - plain and simple. Temple would maybe beat us three out of 10 times at best. We forgot to show up the night we needed to show up - nothing more, nothing less. USF should be ranked in the CFP, but we're not. Winning meaningful games matters.

The writer called us "Memphis" in the last sentence of the Houston section.

CFP is biased

A few 4 loss teams, can sit up so high

Also, I don't know how UF is ranked #15 with their awful offense.

It's almost like they rank 1-10 and the rest are just throwing darts at a wall or to further narratives. Pitt is in cause they beat PSU, who beat OSU. Houston stays in to bolster Oklahoma's SOS. Florida at 15? What a joke; just to make a top 15 SECCG. I get if you don't want one rank usf because they can't even play for their CCG, but what about OSU?

Utah lost and moved up 2 spots. How is that at all justified?! I would like to see what resources the committee actually looks at to make their decisions. Anyone watching just 5 minutes of film on us would see that we belong in the top 25.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
