KC signs him for the minimum which is prorated so it saves Anaheim what like 50 grand? I would keep him and make him pitch BP just to piss him off like he did to the fans. I wish baseball went to salary cap and non-gaurenteed contracts. Look at Javy Lopez for the Braves who has sucked for like 4 years in a row but now he is in a contract year and amazingly he finds his swing this year. He has 30 hr's and will turn that into a 5 year deal for probably 40+ million and do you think there is any shot in hell that this guy ever hits 20 hr's in a year after this season? No, but some sap will pay the dough. It amazes me that there are a million people that want to be a GM of a major sport team. There are probably about 125 major jobs amongst sports yet there are at least half these guys who are morons. And on top of that these morons screw up a team then get fired and someone else hires that same jackass to ruin their club.

Even worse he is only batting like .210 in AAA!! Definatly the biggest bust in my book.

He's pretty smart to have gotten 17 mill for not playing in the majors. That is just George throwing around money. I think you actually have to play MLB ball to be considered a bust. Drew is just a rich AAA ball player.
