Time for the little guy to say FU to Power 5

Let's expand to 24 and take in the Mountain West.   They have 12, and we have 12.  Every team plays each other, plus one OOC game..  How does that say FU?  Well for one thing the power 5 will have to go looking for OOC games.. Then put it out there for the networks and negotiate TV deal.

23 conference games is a long football season

We play the original side of the AAC 11 games and one OOC.  The Mountain west plays their side 11 games and one OOC... Then the top team of each side play in championship game.

Good point.   However I rather build a tradition against the teams in our conference then be one of P5's bitches.   The idea that if we are best in AAC and get a shot at a Boise state each year, it really is the only carrot we have at this point.
