Not necessarily. Hoggins was probable as of today.

He hasn't practiced yet this week.  Ward will see more snaps on Saturday.

has Black getting a lot of playing time?  Haven't seen him make much of an impact.  Can't say we have heard too Vincent Jackson Jr's name called too often either.  Other than Sanchez, Harris and Hector and Senat, No one on defense has really don anything of note.  These guys really have just made the routine tackles so I would expect their names to be called.  Quite honestly on defense no one has really done anything notable.

He was listed as starter last week and didn't even dress.  The depth chart really only updates players when they are definitely out like Atterbury.  Otherwise its a useless tool

I haven't seen much of Black since NIU, maybe injured? I'd say the clear MVPs on defense would be Sanchez, Senat, and Nichols so far this season. The defense has had some great plays by a lot of players so far this year, Harris's fumble recoveries and interceptions, Godwin's effort against NIU and SYR, Ward's pick 6, and Thomas's play at the start of the year. I think our problem this year is pretty obviously the defensive line where we have a lot of converted LBs to DEs. Livingstone has been a nice surprise but Love has been disappointing and Jackson is still a little undersized. Wish we had Ivy in there and hopefully we can get a couple JUCOs this offseason because that's what's holding up from being an elite team.

Also, didn't realize Punter Hernandez is only a sophomore. He's been a great surprise.

Wonder if WR Salomon is going to redshirt, if he can.  Hard to get a lot of PT with this group.
