Overall . . . B+

Offense: A

As well as we are winning, except for the FSU failure, we can be more dominant offensively. Need to play hard all 60 minutes.

Defense: C

We are a bend, don't break much Defense.

Go BULLS !!!

I feel very good about the 2nd half of the regular season. Beat UConn and then a national audience watching the next two Friday nights. Then two away games before coming home to win the first War on I-4 Trophy.

Defense is a D and that is with a generous curve. Offense has been impressive. Special teams has been fairly solid as well.

Offense A

We're one of the best offenses in the country and we still feel like we're leaving stuff on the table most weekends. If we can continue to tighten up the intermediate passing game look out! 

Defense C-

We're soft against the run and play depressingly off of receivers. Nate Godwin is a major liability in coverage. On the bright side we seem to get stops when we need to and look good when the coaches allow us to attack we force turnovers. Tons of room for improvement and some personnel changes and coaching philosophy shifts are needed. 

Special Team B+

Solid all-around. We've been great in coverage, and the kicking and putting are more that effective. 

 

Overall B

Were an above average team nationally and are one of the 3 best teams in the conference.

Defense looks shaky against the run, but looking at our opponents so far it looks like we held most of them to below or right around their scoring average for the year (except FSU), and that is going to work most of the time with the offense we have. C seems fair, but I understand those who see us as a D. It seemed like Syracuse gained about 1,000 yards on us, but we held them to fewer points than Louisville did.

Don't remember where I found the stats, but i posted them in another thread a few days back

Our scoring offense is twice as good (ranking # wise) as our overall offense and our scoring defense is twice as good as our overall defensive ranking

so i'd say A+ for scoring and A- overall

Defense: B- for scoring and C- overall

Same 5-2, but doesn't seem to have the intensity ... Glaring to me also - Where are the DE's !?!

Talent at key positions is down this year. Hopefully these guys can get better as the season winds down and when we really need them.
