Announcers last night predicted we'd take the air out. We didn't.

Some posters mentioned we should have snapped the ball later in the play clock.

I disagree. I'm glad we continued to play fast. This is a competitive advantage for us and we should use it to the max.

We should run our normal offense (especially with the backups in), regardless of time left, and try to score. 60 should be the minimum target every game and 100 should be the stretch target

FSU holds the team record for scoring (723 in 14 games in 2013, average 51.6), we have 229 (avg 45.8) with 7+ games to go. 55 per game in 9 games gets us to 724.

Go Bulls. RUN IT UP!!!!!!

Kean needs to be trained and practicing regularly in the system he will run if he needs to take over for QF. It would be ridiculous to put him in during garbage time to hand the ball off each down with 2 seconds left on the play clock. That is not the environment he would be in if he needs to step in full time. Play the offense. If that leads to the offense scoring in 10 seconds when we are up by 25 points, more power to 'em. Who cares about the other team at that point?

I agree every week goal should be 50+

I saw some fire from CWT last night when offense stalled, he wanted it also.

Thats fine if you are up 4 scores and the backups are in. Mack has left two games with head injuries this year, and we all know how easy it is for a star QB to tear an ACL.

Just hope we don't look back and think whatif because of a silly injury to QF, MM, or Rodney late in a blowout.

I was one of the ones that thought his clock management was poor until I understood what he was doing with the young guys. I think it is good personnel management to get the young guys the work.

Just be careful with letting the starters do too much so they get hurt. Happened to Flowers late in the game against SMU trying to dive for a TD. Then he was only about 50% the next week against Navy and that may have cost us a trip vs Houston in the championship game.

Yeah, this team has averaged 45 a game for roughly a whole season. Despite what the experts on this board would have you think QF doesn't need to be playing in the garbage time throwing deep balls.

Do you know when he should be working on the intermediate routes (and obviously had?) real practice. Not 4:30 left up 4 scores.

Where you all drunk by the 4th? You make it seem like Kean played the whole quarter. He didnt even start the **** drive.

You are entitled to your opinion on that and it has merit but CWT apparently disagrees.

He probably wants to get him to the next level for bigger games like UH.  There are a lot of things he needs to work on and you can't simulate game speed in practice.  He is rolling the dice by doing that,  I'll grant you, which was probably why he got pissed at him when he kept running the ball and not passing which was why he got pulled mid possession for running imo.

Go back and watch the play before he got pulled.  CWT was pissed as hell and he looked like he said something like "just throw the ball".

I tend to agree that, even though we are putting up a lot of points as you mentioned,  we also leave a lot of points on the ground.  CWT is an offensive guy so maybe he wants to fix what he sees are easy mistakes.

QF's intermediate passes were much better last night so they are clearly wording on it in practice.
