Last year at this time, we were 1-3 and wondering if CWT would make it to the end of the season.  This year, we're 3-1 and looking at going to the AAC Championship Game.

The 5th game last year is when Flowers and the team turned the corner.  Hopefully, Flowers will repeat that and his passing will improve.

It is the defense or at least the coaching on the defensive side.

It's conference play, the entire team needs play every game with the thought the championship game is at stake.

:icon_drink:It's the first season in...feels like forever...that I feel we do actually have a chance to make waves in the conference--before the conference games even start.

I really hope the D can step it up, that's the only thing that gives me a little pause.

I think we will have a few conference losses this season...only because I don't have much faith in the defense at this time.

A win vs Cincy on road would be a huge start to conference play. This is a big game.

We play even 80% we should win every game remaining on the schedule. A win at Cincy on the road is expected as they have looked awful so far this year.

Just to be clear, we haven't played a single conference game yet so the only place we are "looking at going to the conference championship game" is in the minds of TBP.

You're fooling yourself if you think a win vs Cincy on road will be easy.  Hey I hope I'm wrong.

ESPN FPI has us favored in every game we play the rest of the way, so they're fairly confident so far. However, that metric evolves after every week of games that is played.
