I remember bartending in undergrad during that game. The Gator fans sitting at my bar were smack talking prior to kickoff. After the game, just shock and amazement from everyone at the bar, and no other had a bigger smile on his face than me.

That was the game that got me interested in USF football.

We need another big win to get more people interested.

I was there for that game.  Such excitement.  The Pitt fans were in shock.  We came out and punched then right in the jaw from the very beginning of the game, starting it off with an on side kick that we recovered.  They never did!! I also remember it being a pretty hot day.  We definitely partied it up on that night.  I flew home on Sept 10.  The next day of course drowned the buzz of excitement.

I agree.  It would have been meaningless if we didn't follow it up with our other big wins.

We were in Dallas for a Bucs game. I don't remember the sports bar we were in, but it was completely over run with Bucs fans. The game wasn't on TV but they kept showing some of the highlights. Loudest cheers I heard all weekend from Tampa folks.

I have a feeling this season may be more of the same. Sucks, you'd think our Bucs were due.

I remember driving across to Pinellas to a watch party at a restaurant on 688 in the Feather Sound area.  What a great time!

That Pitt game was huge and exciting. That kind of win was new for us.

I was there - great game and time. I was not originally going but luckily was talked into attending. We went to a Pirates game the night before at PNC Park. Did the tailgate there the next day at the Outback in the park. Then the game-- wow-- it was amazing. Flew home Sunday and worked from home on Monday. The 11th was not so great to put it mildly.
