Correct...as a building in Providence gave then the Big East a pretty sweet leasing deal.

Of course its silly to have a HQ in Rhode Island...as the local press doesn't care about your most "Southern" Conference...let alone none of those "Southern Markets" have reps in the HQ area.

There was talk about moving HQ to Disney Area and/or to Dallas area...but with the conf membership on egg shells, sadly, it might be getter to stay put vs moved to a city and then have that local team(s) jump ship too.
