That guess is as good as mine. Sounds a little sketchy, though. Pure speculation, but it also sounds like something you would say to cut loose someone who wasn't acting solid and wasn't high on the new staff's list. Have to think they would honor the commits from the prior staff as long as they were solid.

Davis told the Oregon 24/7 site last week we just stopped talking to him altogether fwiw
