The problem is, the decision will likely be made before kickoff.

I don't think either Florida team makes the cut though

Trying to be as objective as possible, not including the FL schools would be extremely shortsighted. Recruiting wise, school and potential alumni size is important, but from from a tv market size leaving FL would just be downright idiotic from a business perspective.

Let's say you add Cincy. You add the Cincy fans vs whichever team they are playing that game. People (alumni and fans) retire to FL. You would be adding potential viewers of almost all B12 teams as natural viewers each week.

This may be a stretch, but I think recruits from FL may be more apt to consider going to a school like Kansas, or KSU or an Iowa State if they know they will be playing at least a couple of games in front of their families during their careers. Those type of schools could have a chance to strengthen their rosters too.

I see the Florida schools at the top of the list if the decision makers look to the future.

Voted the Big East remnant (us, Cincy & UConn) and UCF.

Surprised that the Big East has not helped us with any credibility for getting access to the Big-12

Not surprised at all.  The Big East was looked at as a red-headed stepchild of the BCS during much of the time we were in it.  Think of all the articles that basically said we shouldn't have an auto-bid.

I voted Houston, Cincy, usf and ucf.

Same...and I do believe that's the best choice for the Big 12.
