Yeah Trip I meant not to play in a future sense.  I really don't know who UCF has played in the past other than Alabama.  Looking forward though with this question.

Gotcha ......Even though they won't play us, I have a hard time ever criticizng FSU's OOC schedule. It's pretty much always been aggressive to a fault ... especially when comparing to those weenies southeast of them.

UCF:

2005:

9/17 @ South Florida

2006:

9/9 @ Florida

9/16 South Florida (Currently scheduled for the same date as @ South Carolina)

SOOOOOOOOOO, if that is true, then who does ucf cancel? USF or @ USC? Inquiring minds want to know.. ::)

Things will be moved around.  USC(South Carolina) would be the one to go if one had to go.

Right. Keep smoking what you're smoking. Florida is in the SEC and plays FSU every year. Traditionally has one of the toughest schedules in the nation (7 bowl teams last year).

Shut up, STK. 7 bowl teams but the 57th hardest schedule. Florida OOC schedule blows because they supposedly have to have all those home games for financial reasons. You reap what you sow ...

All those years of being THE football university in Florida and only one national championship. The Gators have been an embarrassment to football in this state ....

UF plays a sissy OOC.  They ONLY play at home, so real schools aren't interested in one-and-dones and two and nones.  UF is second tier to ND, USC, Ohio State and Michigan when it comes to scheduling.

Ohio State vs Texas this year.  Has there been a bigger OOC regular season game in recent history?

Maybe he meant a non-traditional OOC game ....... even then, I'm not sure Texas-OSU is head and shoulders above some others.

Re FSU, if I recall correctly, last Winter there was a buzz that FSU approached UCF about travelling to Tallahassee, with no return game -- and O'Leary rejected the idea.

It's not like UF is doing us any favors either. Whoop-dee-doo. So nice of them to let us travel to The Swamp TWICE, with no return game.

Miami, OTH, has been refreshingly accomodating.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Personally, I think when O'Leary claims UCF is done with scheduling 2ferNones or 1ferNones, I think it's a bit pigheaded. We should take on the Big 3 every chance we get. Just one Win could change everything.
