I'm so sorry this happened...sexual orientation shouldn't be a cause for a death sentence.  I hope Americans get serious about the war declared on us.

Despite the best efforts of some politicians, this is being treated as "domestic terrorism" and there's no a holes to fight.

Reminds me of all the foreign terror attacks during the Clinton administration...culminated in 9/11.  Sooner or later it has to be taken seriously.  Preferably sooner.

Well, we could always try and stop people from being able to buy military grade assault rifles. Would that be a serious enough step?

Of course not.  People that want to kill will still get guns, or use explosives, etc.  The issue isn't the tool, it's the handyman.
