The AAC has reduced the number of conference games from 18 to 16 so we play 6 teams twice and 4 teams once. We play UCF, Cincy, Houston, and SMU once and everybody else twice. What are everyone's thoughts on this

My thought is that we have two chances to beat UConn, one time being here.

My first thought was who are the teams lucky enough to only draw UConn once ...

At first glace this rule is pro UConn, and negative everyone else.

All the other teams want a UConn game at home every year. UConn, would most likely want less conference games so they can craft their schedule with more non conference games.

It makes sense so the better teams in the conference are able to schedule more out conference teams, to beef up their NCAA tourney resume

Schedule is fine except for the part where the conference tourney is in Connecticut, as if Geno needs any help. Seems like it ought to be more neutral.

I agree. But money talks. Imagine how miserable the crowds would be if it was held in a neutral site. If Uconn does something right, it's putting a lot of butts in seats for women's basketball.

Good argument, they do show up well. But the misery is dependent on whether any of the other teams have a shot at them. Personally I'm hoping that gap is narrowing...for us anyway.
