Do any of you who follow recruiting closely know if the mass exodus of Baylor recruits jumping ship had USF in their plans or are from FL? As of tonight, it looks like 7 are gone and asking out of the NLIs and an 8th finishing his paperwork.

Don't believe we were legitimately in the running for any of the guys that have asked out. I'm sure we'd fall all over ourselves to snag them, but most of those guys will have some powerhouse programs fighting over them.

Wonder if it could help that Taggart & Co visited Baylor practices a few months ago.  Doubtful we snag one, but I understand sharks are in the water, with a lot of schools looking to capitalize on Baylor's woes.

Baylor gives 5 recruits in 2016 class their release from their National Letter of Intents. All 5 had formally requested out of their NLIs
