That you said you would have downvoted me if you downvoted hurts, man.  I just figured our mutual hate of Chris Berman was enough to get us through without ill will.

Everyone hates Chris Berman. Chris Berman even hates Chris Berman.

I have an image to uphold .... an image that elicits ill will freely and without prejudice.

Or how about AAC does something really crazy and throws all we know out the window with a streaming package with Netflix, Hulu, yahoo, social media, Apple TV?

I have no idea or pretend to know how this would work just throwing out a crazy idea. Chord cutting is a thing and the NFL is streaming a game live online this upcoming year. Best to be ahead of the curve.

The NFL isn't ahead of the curve. They're being dragged kicking and screaming towards the future in every way imaginable. ALL of the major professional sports in this country have had online streaming of every regular season game (some with H/A broadcast choices) for years.

They're never going to put together an app as a conference to stream games across multiple platforms. I think Netflix or Hulu is a much better option. They've already done the heavy lifting as far as software infrastructure: they're already in millions of homes across the country. Maybe the AAC and one of the the streaming subscription-services could get together for a one year trial balloon, between TV contracts?

Maybe some of our season ticket holders can stream the games of Periscope?

You joke but I definitely had a buddy periscope an away game from the bar cause I was at work for the first half. And let me tell you, outside of audio it wasn't half bad!

They just lost a sub today (me). Let's see how this goes. If I can get NHL online for Bolts coverage, I would just need a way to watch Bulls games.

First Take is hands down the worst sports show ever on TV, and I can't believe I didn't say that about a show with Chris Berman on it.

First Take is incredibad. I really enjoy the hardcore intro with dude running on a treadmill and lifting weights. I also like looking at the girl. That's about it.

Oh I heard Berman's contract wasn't being renewed. No one circles the wagons...

I buy NHL Game Center every year, and I use my parents cable login for watchespn, nbcsportsnetwork, abc for other sports on my appleTV. CBSSports has an online stream but no app yet.

The conferences should just make their own direct streaming services. Subscribers pay the conference directly cut out the middleman, they can should pull in their own advertising revenue. They should broker deals directly with each other for interconference games. Tell Mickey and those other leeches to beat it.

For what it's worth there will always be a middle man... Conferences aren't going to hire full time staff to do this. They will contract it out with production companies.
