“Kickoff With Coach Taggart” Hits Bay Area In June

Taggart events to make four stops around the Bay Area, June 6-9

TAMPA, MAY 9, 2016 – With an exciting 2016 football season just four months away, fourth-year USF Head Coach Willie Taggart will be hitting the road to see Bulls fans in the Bay Area with four “Kickoff With Coach Taggart” events set for June 6-9.

Taggart and the USF Bulls Club will be making four stops around the Bay Area, visiting fans in Bradenton/Sarasota, Brandon, Tampa and St. Petersburg during evening events scheduled from 6-8 p.m. All events include complimentary appetizers and soft drinks, a cash bar and the opportunity to socialize with Coach Taggart and hear first-hand about an exciting Bulls football team that returns 93 percent of its offense, seven of its top nine tacklers and is expected to be among the favorites to win the American Athletic Conference.

“I am very excited for the 2016 season and the team we have returning to build on last year’s bowl game appearance,“ Taggart said. “Our season ticket members, supporters and fans are going to play a big part as we take USF to the next level in 2016, and I’m looking forward to seeing their energy and excitement when I get out to see them in June.”

Admission to all events is free. Space is limited and fans are asked to pre-register on-line to help ensure admission using the following LINK.

USF Bulls Club and USF Ticket Office personnel will be on hand at all events to help fans renew or purchase 2016 season tickets for a seven-game home schedule that includes visits from Florida State, Navy and rival UCF.

Sure would be great if they could bring this back to Atlanta again like they did in year 2 of the Holtz regime.

That was just the secondary reason back to go up there back then. It was really a fact finding mission about Ironside ...

Do we get to drive some balls with CWT at Top Golf? That's worth the price of admission.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
