Geno will find a way to win with the players he DOES have. They are still a team of fantastic talent and still years beyond the talent of our Bulls.

So you're saying we are as talented as UCONN in the next 12 months?

So you're saying you meant two years with the original statement?

By saying years, I mean in excess of 1 year (2 year is in excess of 1 year, but not likely). By Sellular saying not years, he indicated 1 year or less, to which I disagree with him.

Actually, he originally indicated 23 months and 30 days or less ... and since you confirmed that 2 years was indeed included in your assessment, you two really were almost in agreement..

I don't know how many scholarships we will have available for 2017.

ESPNW has us listed among the favorites of two top 60 players.

We have very tough competition for both of them.

UConn already has two verbals from Top 60 players.

Coach Auriemma has visited at home with LaDazhia Williams, but hasn't made an offer. Since he just a received a transfer of a post player from Duke, I doubt he now makes her an offer. But, a bunch of other elite WBB schools, including ND have offered. It would be a tremendous coup for us to land her. She has been to a number of USF games over the years.

So, it will be interesting to see who we sign for that class.

If we only had one or two spots, I'd love to see us get a highly rated PG. It looks like we'll have some shooters and a post player or two, so we need someone strong on the dribble to be a playmaker & break down defenses like CW did.

Sounds like Chelsie Hall, from Tampa. Ranked #22 overall.

We've recruited her for a long time.

Good to see LSU & USF in the bldg to see one of the Nations best '17 PGs, Chelsie Hall (Seffner Christian)!! @MiamiSuns @CoachJFernandez

Hopefully, she will stay HOME!

yep, she'd be my #1 target, sounds like CJF is all over the hometown recruits. We don't need her to be an instant finisher, just a strong distributor. Hope we can land that fish.

I wonder why the UCONN coach hasn't taken a job coaching a men's team. I can understand being complacent and not wanting to leave a good thing, but being that much better than every other team has to get boring after awhile. No one would dispute that he is the best to ever coach women's college basketball.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
