South Florida Bulls football is primed for big year

I feel pretty good about the D. Second year in the system. Although we lost some guys up front, we saw good production from the young guys last year late in the season. I think we are a bit more athletic and deeper at LB overall and we are returning a lot of experience and good athletes with a lot of experience in the secondary.

This is my thoughts. Our D won't have to face our O week in and week out and there are only a handful of teams on our schedule that will have as potent of a 1 2 punch as Flowrs and Mack.

I can see why Hector has been rolling with the 1s.  We willbe stout against the run so I think we'll be good at defense.  We shut Mack down and we wont see much better than him.

I forgot how dominant the offense was at the end of last year...the last 4 games they scored over 44 points a game.

Two of those teams Temple and Wku were top 25.

If we had scored over 44 points against WKU, I think we'd have had a much better chance of winning.

I think he meant we averaged a little over 44 points a game.

We scored 35 points vs Wku vs most teams that should get you a win.

Imagine if we exceeded expectations and went 13-0 or 14-0.  How fast would we be packing our bags for the Big 12?
