Williams is one of only two players to be recognized at least three times this season, joining Breanna Stewart (UConn), who has received the honor four times. Williams led the Bulls in a 1-1 week, but turned in a great stat line, nearly averaging a double-double thanks to 24.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steal per game. The guard shined at No. 11 Louisville as the only player to score double-digits in her 16th20-plus point performance this season, the 44th in her career. Williams went 11-for-25, scoring 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in her 11th double-double this season. She also added three assists, one block and one steal. In Sunday’s 23-point effort, Williams connected on 10-of-24 shots, grabbed nine rebounds and dished out four assists. With three games remaining this season, Williams lies second in the all-time scoring list with 2,110 points. In her last outing, Williams became the first Bull in program history to collect 2,000 points, 800 rebounds and 300 assists. Williams has the potential to move to third in the career rebounding list as the guard has 883 and only needs 27 rebounds to overtake Mary Klinewski (’85). Williams has joined legendary Wanda Guyton (’89) as the only Bull to rank in the top-5 in both the programs career points and rebounds record books, she is second in career rebounds (1,077) and fourth in career points (1,820). If Williams surpasses Klinewski, she will be the only student-athlete to rank in the top-3 in both categories. Williams and the Bulls return to action Wednesday at Tulsa, the first of a grueling three games in six days.

Scary for everyone else, I just wish (again) she had one more year with the Bulls. 1
