Did you not notice the author of that .....?

Oh sure, but I felt like it might be fun to engage.

The gap for the National Championship actually is smaller. Houston is in the discussion for next year. That probably wouldn't have happened with a team

in a lower league in the 80s.

Money? That's different

I'm just doing this so I can get you out of my reply box. I have no idea how to delete this and it keeps popping up every time I try and post something. I'm not the only one who's having this problem, am I?

College football TV ratings are down as a whole, look for ALL Leagues to receive less in the future. ESPN is hurting, cord cutters are eating into profit so they will have less to pay over the next few years.

This story is only the beginning!

Meh, I am going to watch USF football and hope we win as many games as possible. To worry about all of the other BS is too time consuming. Half of what you read about expansion, networks, etc. is total BS, contrived by reporters and bloggers to have a story. I am looking forward to our conference championship next year, or the next year, or the next year...

Don't know if you've tried this but mouse over to the upper left hand corner of the Quote box. When the directional cross comes up, left click on it and then hit Delete on the keyboard. Should remove the Quote.

Mike Arescos gamble to take less money from ESPN but get more exposure with prime time games paid off, and got the conference noticed with good play on the field. Another 2-3 seasons of that, and the AAC will officially be the middle ground between the P5 and the G4. I can live with that. We had 3-4 teams ranked at the same time all year, so all we need to do is repeat that every year, and I would expect our tv payout to double any G4 payout
