Is this guy a good take, or did we just take him because we couldn't sign anyone else?  I like for there to be some reason to be excited when a player signs with us, but with him...meh.

I was thinking the same thing bullballa.  I knew there probably was slim pickings for big men this late but was hoping we could get a quality juco big who could play immediately next season.

He was a 3 star recruit out of hs. averaged 4.4 ppg last year as a freshman at Texas tech.

We need all the mobile "bigs" we can get our hands on. With Cousins gone after the season, we'll need someone to spell Perry and Guerrero next season. I still think Santos plays more like a SF in a PF's body.

Santos puts in some good work on the boards though, he gets in decent positions when he is looking for the rebound. I'd love to see the kid get more playing time, I think he has fire. Tulio will also play next season and he is listed at the 4 I believe and Baxter is a tweener/stretch 4.
