BJ Daniels officially an NFL QB

If I recall correctly, Seattle gave BJ the veteran minimum to remain on there practice squad so that he wouldn't be seduced by others. I may be wrong.

Hoyer is suppose to be back and starting next week. Probably not a good sign for BJ being active next week.

Whatever he gets paid or even if he's on the active squad next week is irrelevant. He played in and threw 2 passes in an NFL regular season game. That's 2 more than the majority of this board ever thought would happen.

Don't think anyone is arguing that. But don't pump the tires too much as we have had many outstanding USF players in the NFL who have had a greater impact.

Not at QB. This is really about BJ and all the naysayers, not how he stacks up against other USF position players. I know you're just framing the level of success, I just think it bears repeating that taking snaps in an NFL game is something no USF QB has ever done, let alone have an impact after negligible time on a new team. Props for BJ!

Yeah, I agree I am just as happy as anyone he is doing well. Further, this could help somewhere down the line with recruiting, telling a future recruit that you can make it in the NFL at QB by coming to USF.
