That's a real toss up, but all signs point to no unless we crack it in the preseason or are just outside looking in (which I still feel is unlikely.) look how long it took for Memphis or Houston to crack it, heck even Temple and Navy. G5 is still on the outside when it comes to respect in the polls. If we won the bowl game I would be more willing to say yes, but I think not. I'm also not looking forward to playing Syracuse in the dome with a new head coach.

My post was unclear, but I was speculating on likelyhood of ranking IF we had won the bowl game against ranked WKU and matched up with FSU at 3-0. I'd say it would have been a given based on media aand public interest implications.

I don't think the OP was hyperbolic at all ... especially when, as Brad pointed out, he used the word "potentially."  

Potentially, he may be correct.  We're not losing many starters, all things considered, and we're gaining players in some key areas.

Also, it should be pointed out, these gains are not even taking into account the players we'll be getting on NSD.  Hoping CWT and staff are able to pull in some even better talent than the last two years.
