Potentially, we've never had this much depth before!

We finally broke the 17-point barrier this year. And if the current team can score that many points, think of what next year will bring!

I've not looked to see who we will have returning on the O-line. But that's the only place that we may have experience and depth issues.

And talk about receiver upgrades and experience, that's going to be night and day from this year.

9 months is a long time to wait!

I'm reluctant to start calling things "the best ever" before we've seen things come to fruition.

I'm very optimistic, and see a great deal of potential in next year's team. That's about as far as I can go

I don't mean to stifle conversation. I would pose a different question: in which area do we have the least depth?

I would say Tight End and Special Teams.

OL - We lose 3 starters, but Gibbons redshirted and Bethel will be here to add some size.   This unit has

WR - We get all of our 2-deep back

RB - We get all of our RBs back who had meaningful carries (Turner and Hamilton barely had any)

QB - Flowers and Woulard and Keane and Olakudun (sp?)... could be the best set of QBs we've had ever.

TE - Dillon is a monster and will be great to watch, but no one behind him has any real experience...

DL - We lose some real talent on the DL, but we do have Calloway coming back and at least one JuCo kid coming in that will compete right away

LB - We keep them all, and the addition of Cherry could be our next NFL LB

DB - Losing Byrd will be a major loss, but we get Hassan Childs back

PK - Nadelman is getting better... despite the misses in the bowl game

P - We had a walk-on freshman kicking in the bowl game... uh...

KO - Not sure if Nadelman can handle kickoffs or not

KR - Adams, Johnson, and McCants were back there this year, and all come back

Our o line is the only real question mark. The o line will make or break the offense.

we have been historically strong on the d line and I expect that to continue.

the future is bright, that's for sure.

Some of you are missing the word "Potentially" that prefaces his speculation.

...has what?  Good take; but I'd like to read why you think OL isn't a concern.  I think it could be a big factor.

You said Calloway and Bethel will be here next year. Can anybody confirm this or have insight on this?
