What the heck?

I'm wrapping up a fantasy football season, well, the TBP one we've been running and I'm actually in the championship game (#1 seed, but underdog) and I am looking at a player I have had part of last season and all this season - Latavius Murray - and just noticed he was from UCF.

Upon noticing this, my first reaction was NOT to cut him.  I'm somewhat surprised at this and at the fact I had never heard of the guy being from UCF until the end of this year.  I guess I really wasn't paying attention those years.

LT was a quiet performer at UCF. Left to go back home, he was love sick for a girlfriend, GOL let him back on the team, but not as  a starter, he had to earn that again. He had a good but not great senior year, bit he had a huge Liberty Bowl, and was MVP.

When he was drafted, he was really in the shadow of the Raiders  feature back (DM), then got injured again. Darren Mcfadden announced that he was going to be done, and LT took an off season to get bigger and faster knowing that the job was his, and that he could lock out any competition with a huge season.

He is BIG and fast. Not a burner, but he hits the hols and  makes just one cut, no jukes.  He also has exceptional hands.

HIs UCF highlites...his NFL film looks just the same, straight ahead, hit the hole, goodbye.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbsjQvVvb6w

"For me, I never considered it that way (as a stepping stone), honestly. When I was offered the head job at South Florida, and I'm sincere about this, I never thought I would ever go anywhere."
