They adjusted to give their QB time to throw. 

No way we were gonna keep them from scoring all day. I didn't know much about their offense before, but what they have done under Brohm is pretty impressive. Doughty threw for basically the same yardage that our entire offense had all year.  He had 50 TD passes on the year. All time NCAA leader in TD passes over a 2 year period.  They were #1 in the country on passing efficiency. #4 in overall offense. #2 in the country in total passing yards for the year  

We didn't have a good game against them on defense, but we were certainly were not the only ones. They racked up about the same # of yards against Indiana and close to 450 vs LSU. 

I am just going to chalk it up as a bad game snd beaten by by a better team.

We may just be over analyzing things.  We had a great year but only beat two teams with winning records.  WKU, might have been the best team we faced all year.

I think the biggest factor was the D was on the field to long and gassed. Our O was quite bad the majority of the first 3 qtrs with something like 1/10 3rd down conversion and losing the time of posse

I was really disappointed with the defense. honestly, we are lucky it was even close. WKU missed some wide open guys on deep throws. They could have easily dropped 50 on us. seemed like Doug
